Annual General Meeting 2024 & new board announcement
On Saturday, 25th of January was held the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rugby Ísland.
During this meeting, many different changes were put to vote, the biggest one being the change in the bylaws of association. This change was unanimously approved by the members present, and in vertue of articles 6 and 8 of these new bylaws, the following board was elected for the year 2025:
- Höskuldur Sylvain Dutilh
- Kristján Conway Wales
- Þorkell Már Guðnason
The newly elected board met after the AGM and decided to appoint the following positions.
For the board:
- Chairman, as elected at the AGM: Höskuldur Sylvain Dutilh
- Treasurer: Kristján Conway Wales
- Secretary: Þorkell Már Guðnason
Operational management, appointed by the board:
- Technical Director & National Coach: Phillip Kendrick
- Director of outreach: Egill Arnar Helgason
- T&E Manager & Referee Manager: Kristján Conway Wales
- Media & Communications Manager: Þorkell Már Guðnason
- Medical Manager: Aron Arnar Sóleyjarson
